It s my first time using birth control pills and I got the set of pills (Lutera 28 day pill) about two months ago. The nurse told me to start the Sunday (which my period was supposed to come that Sunday or Monday). But for some reason my period hasn t come and it s been 9 weeks! (I m a virgin so I can t be pregnant). I finally got it today and I m not sure when to start it. Today is a tuesday, and I have finals this week I don t want to take the pill today because I don t know how my body will react. 1. So should I start this coming Sunday, or can i take it any time between today and and the day my period ends? 2. When I start my first pill, should I start with the hormone pill (white) or inactive (pink) pill? 3. I will be going on a week long family trip in the summer (July) so when should I take my pills to plan a missed period during that time according to the trip? 4. I would prefer my periods to come during the week like mon-friday. how should I know what day to take it? Please help. Thanks!
I started on birth control pills for the first time in December 2013 and noticed some anxiety after 3 weeks of being on it. I asked my gynecologist if the medication could cause this and she said yes. I began having more anxiety and what felt like panic attacks. So I just stopped the med on February 17 th I feel like I m still having the anxiety and sadness. I did start a period today and know my cycle is now messed up. My last period was 2 weeks ago. My question is what type of doctor can I go to to get an anti anxiety medication? I feel like I m going crazy

I take Ziac or Bisoprolol -HCTZ 5-6.5 I got a refill and the pills were light peach colored and have UL 11 on them. I didn t think anything about it at first - but I am now having vision and headache problems and I do not think these pills are for blood pressure. I am out of town and can t go to the pharmacy I got them from right now.
I missed one full week of pills. I followed the instruction on the pill pack (i'm a sunday start) so i finished the pack. then started a new one. Its been almost 2 months now since the missed week and i have only been without my period for one week, and just got it again for the 4th time!! whats is wrong?
Hi, I took the pill for years and decided to stop 4 months ago as I had no sex drive. I also started to take Fluoxetine 3 or months ago. When I stopped the pill I got my period normally after a week... then again after a month and again after that. However, I'm 1 week late now. I have the symptoms but no sign of period. I have been married for years and I'm not trying to get pregnant (quite the opposite). We had protected sex close to my ovulation date and never noice a problem with the condom. Should I test for pregnancy or is this normal?
Hi, I have a question about switching birth control pills. Last week, I switched from Minastrin 24fe to Lomedia 24fe. Both of these pills are supposed to be equivalent to the now discontinued, Loestrin 24fe. Lomedia 24fe is the generic version of Loestrin 24fe. I did not like the side effects of Minastrin 24fe and heard good things about Lomedia 24fe. I was not directed to do anything different when switching the birth control pills. I finished the active pills of my Minastrin 24fe AND took the 4 placebo pills. I then started the new pack of Lomedia 24fe on the day that I would usually start another pack of Minastrin 24fe. I was never told to overlap the pills or to not take the placebo pills. I have read on some places that you should not take a gap or take the placebo pills when switching birth controls. However, I did read on the instructions of Lomedia 24fe that when switching from another set of 28 day pills to finish all of the 28 pills and then start Lomedia. I am wondering if there was any way that I was not protected during these days that I have been on Lomedia 24fe. I started the new pill last Sunday, June 1st. These two pills, Minastrin 24fe and Lomedia 24fe are supposed to have the same chemical ingredients as each other. I am hoping that I was protected obviously. Please let me know what you think. Thank you.
