Buzzing Sensation In Body, Tingling And Numb Lips, Pinky, Leg, Toes. History Of Feeling Of Ball On Back After Childbirth. Overweight. Help

I have developed like a buzzing sensation that feels as vibration throughout my body which I feel internally and is frustrating. Also, have noticed my lips go numb and some tingling as well. My right hand pinky numb and tingly as well and I want to just break it off and throw it away. But also with all this my left leg from my hip down hurts, heavy and toes are numb. What is this and why am I feeling it? For the past 4 years while pregnant w/ son and after delivered I feel as if I have a ball on the right side of my back. It hurts more uncomfortable feeling but it is also annoying. I feel as if its my fat cause I am overweight but don't know what it is exactly. My doctors cant detect it in the past. So I am guessing my excessive weight. I am 5'4" and weight 165 - 170. Thank you.

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to:
1. Neuropathy
2. Dietary deficiency of certain nutrients like Iron, Vit B6, Vit B12, Folic acid, etc. which help in blood formation and nerve conduction.
3.Systemic causes like diabetes or hypertension
4. Hypocalcemia- decrease in calcium levels in the body
5. Metabolic & Hormonal causes

The increase in weight can be secondary to an imbalance in the hormone levels in the body, e.g. Hypothyroidism.

Though symptomatic relief can be obtained by administration of nervigenic agents like Vit B6, Vit B12, etc., the underlying cause needs to be treated.

So, kindly consult a Neurologist & get a proper clinical examination done, including nerve conduction studies.
Investigations like complete blood count, Thyroid profile, estimation of blood pressure & blood sugar levels will be helpful to rule out any pathological cause for the symptoms.

There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
Take care
