Bumps In Penis. Sexually Active. Is It STD? Warts? Infection?
Hello. My spouse and I recently found a couple of brownish bumps above his penis , a few on his penis. He is going to the hospital tomorrow to see what it may be. Maybe a type of infection? It does not look like an STD . But kind of like a wart of some sort. Is this normal, maybe because we have sex a lot. Maybe from having sex in Mexico? sounds upsurd but we are scared.
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your spouse has multiple brownish bumps over his base of the penis and shaft of the penis.
The Penile skin is rich in sebaceous glands and hence prone to get more sebaceous cyst due to accumulation of sebum beneath the skin. Normally they fade away without treatment however they need to be treated if increase in size or get infected. Please consult qualified General Surgeon for clinical evaluation and further treatment.
If needed some of them which are bigger may need to get excised in Toto (Completely along with the sac).
Ensure to clean your genitals with warm water twice daily.
