General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Pierre,

Presence of greenish expectorant is indicative of persistence of the infection, even with antibiotic therapy.
Wheezing is due to the constriction of the lower airway passages secondary to the infection.

Kindly consult your doctor now & get a proper clinical examination done.
Investigations like complete blood count, X ray of chest will be helpful.
The choice of antibiotic to be decided based on culture & sensitivity reports.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Take care.

Hi,
Usually after infection clears cough and expectoration remains for few days more.
Continue with the treatment.
Take some cough expectorant to get symptomatic relief.
Ok and take care.
