The bleeding you are having could be breakthrough bleeding often caused by insufficient estrogen, traumatic tear inside, so it is good that that you get examined by Gynecologist and depending on cause may be treated. Breakthrough bleeding usually due to excessively thick endometrial lining in that case changing pill may be required or some time switching to non hormonal methods. If trauma is the cause it can be treated conservatively, breakthrough bleeding is more common in women who smoke so please quit if you smoke. Diet change may not be related to this problem.
