Bad taste in the mouth while trying to quit smoking. Cure?

Hi, I am on day 2 of stopping smoking after three failed attempts. Every time, including now i have a really awful taste in my mouth/ throat . It drives me mad and i can t seem to get rid of it. I have tried mouth wash and salt water but still doesn t help. Is this common? What is it? and how can i get rid of it or help cure it? Please

First of all,prepare your mind well to quit the habit of smoking.
You can chew sugarfree chewing gum or Nicorite to relieve the bad taste while you are not smoking.
Smoking can lead to systemic diseases.
Maintain oral hygiene well.
Get your teeth cleaned.
Routine dental check-up can be done in every 6 months.
