Are Plugged Ears And Having Feelings Of Dizziness And Floating Symptoms Of Vertigo?

My ears always feel plugged as if I had just landed in an airplane. Also get momentarily feelings of floating or dizziness when driving. I have just read the top ten symptoms of Vertigo and it seems similar. I get a numbness through the back of my head sometimes. Bill135 @ WWW.WWWW.WW

hello and welcome to health care magic,

You are very right in assuming that you may have vertigo. Although it is a general term, I am assuming that you mean that you may have giddiness because of some problem in the inner ear. In any case you must consult an ENT surgeon who can examine you properly and also advice test such as PTA and also scan of the temporal bone. You can get these done and get back to me or any ENT with the report.

Meanwhile you must start on betahistine 48mg per day in consultation with your doctor. Do not strain, do not make sudden movements and reduce salt intake

regards
