Are Pain In Scrotum And Penis Related To Spinal Injury?

I was in an automobile accident a year ago, and injured L1 and L2 of my spine. I have been having treatments for this for almost a year. Today I am experiencing sever pain in my scrotum and the top of my penis. What is going on? Is this related to my spinal injury?
