Are Cramps Normal After Stent Placement ?

Hi Doctor . My mother has had a stent put in earlier this week and she is experiencing very bad cramps. Is this normal?

A stent replacement can cause cramps if the stent throws a thrombus. But i am assuming the doctors have prescribed her medicantions and she is regular with those. She will need a doppler scan and also repeat her pt,ptt,inr
