Are Burning Pain In Shoulder And Under Arms Due To Stomach Flu?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Just returned from Thailand where I picked up a stomach bug which continued for about 10 days. That is now subsiding but for the last couple of days I've had intense pain in my left shoulder and now have a burning or stinging sensation under my left arm. Are these symptoms connected?

Hello,

Are you male or female? Are you Diabetic?

Left arm burning pain and arm pit burning sensation may be due to:
1. Cardiac problem
2. Cervical Spondylosis with radiculopathy
3. Pre herpes zoster symptoms
4. Muscle spasm
5. Diabetic neuropathy
6. Gastritis with reflux disease

To diagnose, you need complete examination. So, please consult your physician, he/she will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
