Any Suggestion For Burning And Itching Sensation From Upper Abdomen To Lower, Bloating, Gas, Soft Stools?

For around a moth I am experiencing burn, itch sensation from my upper abdomen wen I get up, going down to my lower during the day. Bloating, gas and sometimes soft stools. They are light brown but the paper looks yellow. I have no      gallbladder since 15 years and most of the time I had some diarrhea, but nothing serious. However now i feel even lightheaded sometimes before going to the restroom. I visit my MD and prescribes me Nexium and Zantac. But I feel more or lest the same. He think it may be GERDS... but not sure... No fever, blood or vomiting. Any recommendations?

Hi,

I have gone through your query. Symptoms you have mentioned are suggestive of acute Gastritis. It may be due excessive acid production or H. pylori infection. As medicines prescribed by your doctor are not responding, i would suggest you to go for some blood work and upper GI endoscopy to rule out infection or ulcer. You can add antacid like sucralfate with ongoing treatment.
Two different antibiotics can be added by your doctor if H. pylori is found.
Some level of abdominal upset can be present due to absence of Gallbladder.

Do consider a positive feedback as a credit to my work. Let me know if you have any further questions.
