Abdominal Pain, Congested Feeling In Stomach, Feeling Of Lighting Up Of Nerves In Pelvic Area. History Of Having Hysterectomy. Normal Post-op Result?
I had a total hysterectomy 7 weeks ago, using the daVinci system. I am still having abdominal pain and "discomfort" which is hard to describe. It's like a congested feeling or great amount of tension, and I cannot relax at night to fall asleep. It feels like all the nerves in my pelvic area are "lit up." Does this sound like a normal post-op result?

Hi there. In the absence of any other symptoms, like raised temperature or nausea for example, I think it would be safe to attribute your other horrible symptoms to your having had a hysterectomy. But if this drags on for much longer you will need to consult the Gynecologist who operated on you. Good luck.
