52 year old. Having hot flashes in the body, sweaty, tiredness, lack of concentration, mood swings, periods irregular. Suggestions?

feeling hot and sweaty nearly all the time recently and tired, have trouble concentrating, I am 52, and have had my periods gone for nearly a year, but they returned this year for january, then again in april, now nothing. i get quite emotional, all the time at work i am realy sweating, it comes on and off throughout the day, and again through the night. is there anything i can take to help.

After going through your history its possible that may be due to hormonal changes at the age of 52 years.
There is is possibility of Thyroid overactivity also so visit your Gynaecologist /Physician,who will after examination will see are there any features to suggest Thyroid problem, and get your FreeT3,FreeT4 and TSH alon with other test and a Sonography of abdomen.
Future corse of action depends on result of your physical examination and result of your investigations.
As your period also came again and it should also be examined and investigated by Pap smear.
