4 Year Old Child, Red Itchy Welt On Thigh, Rashes On Skin, S-shaped Track On Arm. Causes And Treatment?

my 4 yr old just woke up with a large (2 x 2 ) red itchy raised welt on her thigh. On closer inspection, I found a track going up the front of her thigh and back down the back of itch like something burrowed under her skin. THere is also an S shaped track on her arm about an inch or two long. What could it be and how would we treat it?

Hi,

The description seems to be bug bite or insect crawl.

We generally advice to give calamine application and some antihistamine tablet to help the itch.

Just wait and watch, if you child runs fever or the rash progresses to form pus or infect.
