22 Year Old With Less Facial Hair. Any Solution?

hii doctor iam an indian .my age is 22 and still i have not got my facial hair in full condition. There are only few hairs (not beards) in my upper lips and a light layer of hair in both my side-cheeks. i have checked my testosterone level and it was 553.I have been feeling a bit frustated for this kind of life.So i would request you please help me out from this situation.

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. It is not uncommon to have less facial hair in certain individual past puberty. Although some men attain puberty later than the normal age group, if you have concerns with not have enough facial hair it might be right to first consult a dermatologist as a condition called tinea barbae may be the cause among others, and then to consult an endocrinologist to check your hormone levels and have yourself examined.
