2 year old has lump on the neck, feels like rubbery movable lump, born with SS sickle cell. What could this be?

Hi doctor. I was just rubbing my 2 year old daughter s neck and felt a lump on the right side of her head near her skull . It s a rubbery lump and moves around a little. She was born with SS sickle cell. I m taking her to her pediatrician tomorrow morning , but I m very worried and want to know what this may be. Should I be worried?

It looks like posterior occipital lymph node enlargement-this is a lymph node which is felt under the skin when enlarged. This can be due to some infection in the scalp area. Your doctor will confirm tomorro when you go.
Nothing to worry.Take care
