Brief Answer:
Penis base, shaft and glans are normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The penile shaft is composed of 3 erectile columns, the 2 corpora cavernosa and the corpus spongiosum, as well as the columns' enveloping fascial layers, nerves, lymphatics, and blood vessels, all covered by skin. The two dorsal (upper) masses of erectile tissue, the corpora cavernosa, and a ventral (lower) mass of erectile tissue, the corpus spongiosum, in which the spongy part of the urethra is embedded. The end of the penis is the glans which is a rounded head like structure. The attachment of the penis to the rest of the body is at the base where there is the bulb of penis.

What you feel is completely normal.

Hope your query is answered.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

I suppose you are asking about rounded feeling in the groin regions. We have certain structures like spermatic cord, nerves and vessels passing through the groin region and it is normal to feel them as small rounded structures against the bony surface.

There are abnormal structures which appear as pea sized swellings. These are inguinal lymph nodes which are enlarged due to infection and are painful. Also some people have reducible swellings in the region which enlarge on coughing and this is called inguinal hernia. I dont think you have these abnormal conditions.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Yes it is present in all males

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

I understand you are referring to the spermatic cord which is felt as a soft rounded structure when held between two fingers. This is a normal structure and present in all males. Normally it passes from the deep inguinal ring to the testis on both sides.

Hope your query is answered.
