What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Question: Hi . I had an ultrasound which reveals fluid around the spleen and a small kidney stone. Pancreas appears normal. My doctor was concerned about possible liver damage since my liver function tests show high AST and LD and total cholesterol is high. But liver appears normal.
Chinese medicine suggests I have a damp spleen condition and am deficient in kidney yin, causing heat in the blood, and also suggests stagnation in the liver.
I am wondering what you consider is causing the fluid around the spleen and how it might relate to the other conditions. Also what should I do about the spleen fluid, the kidney stone, and the high LD and AST?
