Brief Answer:
Completely normal stool report

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Greetings from XXXXXXX ...What you are seeing in your kid is a completely normal physiological reaction of babies who are formula fed. At this age, green colored stools are quite normal. For this you need not take her to a pediatrician.

I have certain questions for you -
1. What was her birth weight and her current weight?
2. How is her achieving of developmental milestones?
3. How is her urine output?
4. How is her activity?

Kindly get back to me with answers to above questions and I will be glad to help you.
Regards - Dr. Sumanth

Brief Answer:
Completely normal stool report

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX...This is very much a normal report and there is nothing to worry about it. I have already mentioned this in the brief answer in my previous suggestion.

Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting, (please remember green motion is normal)...you need not worry.

Suggestion on home food for an 8 month old

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX...I am happy that I was able to put you at ease when at 11.15PM there's no doctor available immediately in XXXXXXX My suggestion for her...

Home-made food options will be -
1. Daal and rice well cooked and made into a porridge along with ghee
2. Boiled apple or banana and mashed into a paste.
3. Any made cereal porridge preparation with additional ghee added.

Remember certain principles like -
1. Add one food material / cereal or fruit per week. This will be useful because if he develops vomiting or diarrhoea, we will know what to avoid.
2. Add vegetables and fruits made into a paste surely to avoid constipation.
3. Do not add too much sugar as it may cause diarrhea.

If you are happy with my suggestions, kindly rate the answer.
