Question: I received a report from my doctor today about my blood test.
Cholesterol 206
Chol/gel ratio 5.3
Cholesterol, ldl 151
HbA1C 7.4
Potassium 3.3
Glucose 110
I took this test in February 29, 2016 what is this report is telling me?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your cholesterol levels are slightly upper limit of normal. All you need is diet and lifestyle adjustments, exercises, reduce caloric intake, fatty foods and trans fats intake, prefer natural fresh fruits and vegetables and lose weight.

The only significant finding in these reports is HBA1c which indicates you have diabetes mellitus. Either you are already diabetic and you know it in which case it shows poor complince and control in last 3 months duration.

Talk to your doctor and let them help you in this regard. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
