What Does The Following Test Result Indicate?
Question: Hi, My wife have recently done Sonosalpingography and the report is as below:
Right ovary measures 4.8 x 3.8 x 2.9cm (Volume: 26.0cc) Showing Polycist pattern
Left ovary measures 4.7 x 3.5 x 2.4cm (Volume: 21.0cc) Showing Polycist pattern
No free fluid in the pelvis
On Sonosalpingography
Bilateral tubal spill is seen
Mild free fluid is note in the pelvis
The endometrial canal appears normal
Impression:
Patent Fallopian tubes
Polycystic ovaries.
What does all the above mean. Please give your suggestion as to what should be our next step.

The test is perfectly normal except for the polycystic ovaries which can be managed by simple drugs most likely.
In next cycle you should opt for ovulation induction and then either you can try naturally or get an inutero insemination done.
You can try following measures to enhance the chances of conception in case you opt for natural trial for a few cycles-
1) try to keep a pillow beneath her buttocks after sex so that gravitational force keeps the semen inside her vagina for a longer time.
2) she should not get up for at least 20-25 minutes
3) try conventional position of sex female lying down on bed
4) maximum chances of conception are in day 10-18 of the cycle in case she has regular cycles.
I hope these measures will help you in conception in near future.
She has good chances of conception so try in relaxed manner and god will surely bless you with a healthy baby soon.

We have tried naturally sine 2 years and with all the tips given by you. Basically most of the times her periods are not regular, and ofcourse some times the periods are regular.
On the other hand I have sperm count of 15,000.

Take tablet Co-Q forte or fertiza-M or macsoza sachets twice a day for 3 months.
In the meanwhile
- take good amount of fruits and salads daily,
- avoid smoking and alcohol
- avoid stress or sleep lags
- can try yoga or meditation
- drink lots of water and lime juice.
- avoid tight underclothes or tight jeans for long hours.
So in my opinion you both need to go for inutero insemination at the earliest as problem is there in semen and ovaries both so natural trial will yield lower success rates.
It is a simple procedure with very good results.
I understand your anxiety but fertility treatment needs patience and is so advanced these days that you will definitely be blessed with a healthy baby soon.
