What Does The Blood Test Results Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 20 Feb 2015
Question: My recent blood test had WBC 3.1 (up from 2.5), hemoglobin 11.5, HCT 33.2,neutrophil ABS CT 1.3. General Health is very good, weight is normal, exercise regularly. Have some anxiety now and then (who doesn't) and other than some stomach or digestive pain after eating I fell good. I know a low WBC can be ok for some people. I am wondering if I am good? I take thyroid regularly and Prilosec on 14 day treatments.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry. You are normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your hemoglobin is slightly low. For that you should take iron rich food and oral iron.

Your wbc count is slightly low. If you don't have any symptoms then no need to worry. Many persons have this low count as normal variation. Even simple viral infection can leads to this.

You should repeat your wbc count after a week. Continue your thyroid treatment as per advice.

You ars normal. No need to worry.
Just be relaxed.

Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
