Brief Answer:
Life style change, PPI drugs and follow up....

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I went through your report with diligence. Besides the gall bladder polyp that was detected on the ultrasound scan, there are no other alarming features found on the reports attached, Now, this polyp may or may not have been responsible for the abdominal pain. If it isn't the cause, in some cases, such polyp have tendancy to grow leading to future problems. Therefore I absolutely agree with the previous doctor which is to monitor its growth over the next 6 months. You should consult a gastrosurgeon and follow up.

In other cases, abdominal pain may be independent of this polyp and can be managed with good life style (which includes low spicy food, restricting caffeine, smoking, alcohol and exercises) and short course of proton pump inhibitor drugs such as esomeprazole. Sometimes a doctor may order for endoscopy before prescribing this group of drugs.

So in other words, your reports are not overly alarming yet. However I will suggest you follow up with a surgeon - monitor it for a while and start medications.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any other specific information.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Nothing besides this gall bladder polyp is significant...

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I reviewed all the reports including urine and blood reports attached before I sent my response to you. All other values blood counts, cholesterol, liver functions as well as urine reports were unremarkable. Only finding that got my notice was the gall bladder polyp. And as discussed, the polyp at this point of time will need regular follow up if they are asymptomatic.

All other reports which included liver function tests are normal.

Hope this was assuring. Let me know if you need clarifications

Regards
