Question: Hi,
I am a female of 31 years of age and married since 3 years. i have regular periods. We are trying to conceive but till date hard luck. Earlier in the year 2013 i had a big ovarian cyst of 7 cm in the right ovary which i got removed by Laproscopy. The doctors did hystroscopy at that time. There was endomatriosis and they suggested for 3 Lucrin injections which i got immediately after my sugery. Now after one year of trying we again approach a gynae where she got the HSG and ultrasound done. In the ultrasound the report says that the uterus is enlarged, cyst of 58 mm in left ovary, endometrium 10 mm thick and myomctrium suggestive of adenomyosis measuring 115x54x77 mm, two posterior wall submuscous adenomyomas 13mm and 19 mm across, a posterior wall panmural adenomyoma of 44 mm across.
Will i be able to get pregnant. Plz suggest the treatment.

Brief Answer:
Go for IVF

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns about recurring cyst with Adenomyosis.

Following is my reply

1. Such endometriosis cysts are known to recur even after laparoscopy.

2. This seems to be of severe grade and hence you have associated Adenomyosis of uterus leading to enlargement of uterus.

3. You need to undergo IVF (test tube baby) Procedure soon for conceiving. Natural conception could be difficult.
