What Does My Stool Report Indicate?

Question: I had pain in my stomoch after having food and even if i dont have anything, It lasted for almost 2 weeks. Doctor suggested me do do blood, stool and LFT. Blood test and LFT was normal. However i got below in my stool report. What does it represent. Do i need to consult doctor once again?

mucus - present (++++)
RBC - Present(02-03/H.P.F) few,
pus cells - present ( 20-25/H.P.F) Abundant,
Macrophages - (Fair No.)
Fat globules - Present (Few).

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.

The history is typical of some form of gastrointestinal infection.

It would be better, if you get a stool culture done and start antibiotics according to the same.

In the mean time avoid contaminated drinks and meals.

Take a good probiotic twice a day for two weeks, start after you give your sample to the laboratory for culture.
