The complete blood count is mainly composed of the hemoglobin, platelets and white cell count.
The other parts of the complete blood count are used if there are abnormalities in the hemoglobin and white cell count
Eg MCV, MCH, RBC etc are used along with hemoglobin but not on their own
Neutrophils are ONE type of white blood cells, the value of neutrophils is used along with the total white cell count, not usually on its own. If your total white cell count is normal then changes in the parts of the white cell are not usually significant.
Neutrophils tend to be high in bacterial infections though there are also other causes.
The normal value can vary slightly from one lab to the next because of a slight different in lab equipment or technique. In some labs , the upper normal value of the absolute neutrophil count is approx 8000, it may be different for your lab.
With this upper limit, your value would be considered normal.
