Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your symptoms are not typical of a cardiac disorder, considering the fact that drinking water improves your situation.

Anyway, considering your age, I would recommend consulting with your doctor and performing some tests to investigate for the possible causes underlying your complaints:

- resting ECG and a cardiac ultrasound to examine your heart
- a chest X ray study and pulmonary function tests
- complete blood count for anemia
- kidney and liver function tests
- blood electrolytes
- fasting glucose.

An exercise cardiac stress test would be needed if suspicions of coronary artery disease are raised.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Kind regards,

Dr.Iliri
