Brief Answer:
STD panel and HIV test are reliable after their window period.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
You had not mentioned anything about your sexual activities.
As your doctor told that presence of Ig G antibodies indicate an old infection. It could either be active or burnt out infection. If you have no symptoms you can ignore the same. Anyhow my suggestion is, if you have excessive discharge or more than 5 pus cells in urine deposit examination, it is better to rule out Chlamydia once again with especially a PCR test.

If you have more than one sexual partner, then you have to rule out hepatitis B and C also.

Moreover, please be sure all your negative tests were done after appropriate window period of each tests. Otherwise they were not so reliable.

Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV/STDs.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
6 years after last sex contact, then all your tests are reliable and you are free from all the infections, those you had tested for.
Rule out Hepatitis also.
No more tests are necessary for you with regards to STD /HIV unless you have a fresh risk once again.

Brief Answer:
If there is no Vaginal discharge/urethritis need no test for Chlamydia

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
A routine urine examination will reveal if it contains pus cells under microscope. Presence of more than 5 pus cells indicates infection. Then rule out Chlamydia once again with another blood test (PCR for Chlamydia). Otherwise it is not necessary.

Brief Answer:
Rule out Hepatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If urine is clear and no discharge, you don't need further test for Chlamydia. Hepatitis can remain without symptoms. So it is better to rule out Hepatitis also.

Brief Answer:
Hepatitis can remain symptomfree in a carrier state.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I meant that if the tests done 6 years back were negative, you do not worry about those diseases for which the tests had been done.
Hepatitis can remain symptomfree carrier and may lead to complications in future. So it is better to rule out that remote possibility also. So that you can remain tension free.
