Brief Answer:
It is a hair follicle infection over the skin

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
The picture shows the presence of a pimple on the skin of abdomen. It is on the surface and due to a superficial infection probably of the hair follicle. It might have got infected because of scratching. Please do not scratch any more.

It is very small in size and will heal if you apply Neosporin ointment over it 2 - 3 times a day. Please do not worry about it growing into a mass. It is not extending in to the abdomen and is restricted to the skin surface.

If it continues to increase in area with development of severe pain then you may consult a doctor who will give you oral antibiotics and pain killers.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
Please find details below

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

The pimple is not related to cancer in any way.
It is important to know if you have any problems vomiting and diarrhea or constipation.

For any symptom like vomiting and upper abdominal pain, it is better to get a upper GI endoscopy done.

For any long duration diarrhea or constipation, a colonoscopy can be done.

Your doctor will suggest which is required if you have any more pain. This is done only if necessary.

If the pain is going after releasing gas then you must change your food habits.
1. Avoid foods and drinks that trigger heartburn.
2. Eat smaller meals.
3. Don't lie down after a meal.
4. Don't smoke or drink alcohol.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Sir there is no pain but some tight inleft side abdomen is there. I sleep after my meal i will avoid it no loose toll or any other symptoms. I had non veg food for past 3 days. I will avoide spicy food. I dont have vomiting or even heart burn. As i had heavy nonveg i have little heart burn sensation. My main worry is about cancer as a tightness in abdomen

Brief Answer:
Looks like gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

Apart from pain you should also have symptoms listed below to suspect cancer.

The signs of cancer are the following
Blood in Your urine or stool
Changes in lymph Nodes
Heartburn
Weight loss Without Trying
Trouble Swallowing
Fever
Fatigue
Sudden change in stools

Might be you are having gastritis and try to avoid spicy foods or have curds with it. If the pain is troubling you even after changing diet then please see a gastroenterologist and get a upper CI endoscopy done.

Hope your query is answered.
