Brief Answer:
Testosterone very low - needs replacement

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome back.

Gone through your reports. Your testosterone levels are very low. You need to be on replacement.

The usual dose we start is testosterone injections- 100 mg initially every 2 weeks for 2 doses- to look for side effects if any- followed by 250 mg every 2-3 weeks. The injections are available as 100mg and 250 mg ampoules IM injections. After 3 months I usually test for testosterone levels between 2 injections.

Your cortisol levels are low. You should have a synacthen test(stimulation test) done for cortisol - if low has to be started on steroid replacements.

Please consult an endocrinologist before starting medications. Your quality of life and sexual functions are going improve significantly with testosterone injections. Wishing you good health.

Dr Ajish TP
