Brief Answer:
Cholesterol lowering medicines with Viatamin D supplement may be suggested.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.

Went through your father's reports there is -
- Considering HbA1c and fasting blood sugar there is Good blood sugar control.
Continuation of current treatment may be suggested.
- Dyslipidemia (increased cholesterol level)
I may suggest Tablet containing Rosuvastatin 10mg at bed time.
- For low vitamin D I may suggest to take XXXXXXX or tablet containing cholecalciferol 60K units once per week for 8 weeks.
- All other reports are within acceptable limits.

Better to discuss with his treating doctor.

Hope this helps him.

Brief Answer:
HbA1c of 7 denote good blood sugar control.

Detailed Answer:
Rather than single reading of blood sugar level HbA1c gives much more information about blood sugar control.
HbA1c of 7 denote good control of blood sugar level.
But it should be compared with previous HbA1c value if available.

Considering his age, duration of diabetes and current medicines there is a chance for better HbA1c value.
But for achieving that detailed physical examination, changes in medicines and frequent follow up with treating diabetologist are important.

So his treating diabetologist is in better position to suggest any changes in medications.
Also use of jagree (Gur) is not recommended in diabetics.
I may suggest to consult near by dietician who can plan diet for him considering his physical examination, body mass index and food habits.

Hope this helps.
