What Do Small Lesions On Vagina Indicate?

Question: I have these itty bitty lesions on my vagina they burn a little but nit painful no puss just little lesions do you think its herpes or yeast related?

Hi dear!
As I see your reports these lesions on your vagina can be caused from herpes or is the start of Bartholinitis .

You can try the following home remedies for relief of symptoms.
1. Sitz Bath for Relief
Sitz bath helps in relieving the pain and discomfort associated with the vaginal burnes. You can take sitz bath at home by sitting in a bath tub that is filled with warm water up to the level of your hips. You can also add baking soda or a mild saline solution to the water.
2.Over the counter creams
After Sitz baths you can use creams that contain hydrocortizon or lidocaine to relief burn sensation
3.Since sexual contact with an infected person is one of the major modes of transmission of infections causing genital or vaginal sores, one of the most important preventive methods is to practice safe sex by using condoms every time you are having sex.

If your vaginal lesions do not relief with these methods please get checked by a gynecologist.

As my opinion ,what I see in your picture , is the beginning of a Bartolonitis.
But with this picture I cant exclude herpes infection.
Please show me one more picture but stay away from light .

I uploaded one it never really hurt I just looked and saw my vagina inflamed

Hi dear !
Dont you worry so much because this inflamed area of your vagina is only the beginning of Barthonis cyst.
Barthonis glands are glands that are located in that area of vagina .
If the ducts to the gland become blocked, the gland may swell without causing pain—a disorder called Bartholin cyst. A cyst may become infected.
Only have Sitz baths 3 to 4 times per day.
If that area swollen or become painful you should contact your doctor because these are sign of infection .

They told me i had bacterial vaginosis

Im glad that doctors there have diagnosed you only with bacterial vaginosis.
The diagnose is more safe with inspection than looking a picture.
As you know BV is not SST.
Metronidazole is the most common and preferred antibiotic treatment for BV. It is available in three forms:

tablets to be taken twice a day for five to seven days
a single larger-dose tablet you take only once
a gel that you apply to your vagina once a day for five days

In most cases, metronidazole tablets taken over five to seven days are recommended, as they are considered to be the most effective treatment.
