Brief Answer:
Need details

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I have seen you reports, it shows increase levels of T3 and T4.
I would like to know few more details.
Have her symptoms started only after increase of dosage?
Has she had symptoms in past?
What was her earlier dosage?
Have you ever done her vitamin D and vitamin B 12 tests?

Here my first possibility
She is feeling sleeplessness may be due to change of dosage which can cause hormonal changes in her body. It will take time to her body to adjust to new dosage.
Kindly get back to me with details.
Thank you.

Hi Dr,

Please find the answer of the question you asked for :

Have her symptoms started only after increase of dosage?
Ans : There are no increase of dosage. Before this report she takes 3/4 of the 100 mcg tablets and after doing report, Doct suggested to take one table of 75 mcg. And after taking 75 mcg tablets, she is not able to sleep. Sometime she sleeps or sometime not and awake whole night.

Has she had symptoms in past?
Ans : Yes, she had sleeplessness problem in past but this story happened 10 year ago. But from last 10 years she is not suffering and sleeplessness problem.

What was her earlier dosage?
Ans : 3/4 of the 100 mcg 'Thyronorm' tablets and now one table of 75 mcg 'Thyronorm' tablets.

Have you ever done her vitamin D and vitamin B 12 tests?
And : Yes i done these tests 2 months ago not recently and all tests were okies.

Now please advices me what next plan of action i need to take.

Brief Answer:
Sleeplessness mostly due to hyperthyroidism.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your information.

According to your history and reports, I feel that she has gone into hyperthyroidism as her TSH levels are very low and sleeplessness is seen in hyperthyroid people. I would advise you to repeat the Thyroid function tests again to see the TSH levels. If it is still low then the dose of the thyronorm has to be reduced further. Along with Thyroid function test do get Free T3 and T4, Antithyroglobulin Antibody, Thyroperoxidase antibody. Please discuss about this with your doctor.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Depends upon test results

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for follow up query.
Do not change the dosage on your own.
Get the investigations done at the earliest
Once tests done we can discuss about dosage.
Discuss all about this with your doctor. He/she is the person who can change her dosage.
Meantime you can ask to your doctor about alprazolam 0.25 mg before bed. It is a prescribed medication.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
