What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 9 Jun 2016
Question: Trying to ask Dr. Mangat this question. I have talked to him several times
I had a urine dip done at my doctors, just to check that everything is still okay. The urinalysis I had done two weeks after the last course of antibiotics for uti (done in Feb) showed some yeast but no wbc or bacteria. Dr said the yeast was meaningless. He did say we could followup for wbc's if I still felt irritated in the urethra area, which I do, but it is minor. I am using estriol cream nightly. Anyway, the dip showed nothing but urobinigen 1. Doctor explained what that is to me and said the amount was meaningless and to be expected from time to time. The urinalysis, done in a lab, in Feb, showed only.2. However, my sg was 1025 which is quite a bit less diluted than that sample was, which had a very low sp. Could thatake a difference and is there any need for concern. As I said, my doctor said it would as normal. My blood work in Feb was good. I believe my reports are there. Thankyou and hi again! Hope you have been well. I have not had a uti since January.... Yay!

Hi XXXXXXX

Hello XXXXXXX Nice to see your name. We should try to meet sometime,

Keeping in touch with me, will keep your UTI's away.!!

Your reports are fine,as i perceive it.
I've remarked earlier also,UTI can be diagnosed only on urine culture.
So keep it away, the cultured way.!!
Kidney function is best tested, checking your blood creatinine.

The sp.gravity isn't an issue.
Maintain 8-10 glasses fluids daily.
Maintain genital area hygiene.

Hope you're exercising or doing yoga or meditation.
Wish you very good health.

Haha, you're in XXXXXXX right? Not sure when I'll be there! I'm in California, USA. If you come here, let me know!
So to clarify, the urobinigen in that amt is okay? And small amount of yeast in previous urinalysis meaningless, as my doctor said? I didn't repeat urinalysis as I only have minor irritation as I have had since the first infection. No wbc's on dip, or nitrates so assuming all is still well. Urinalysis is expensive.
Yes exercising 6 days a week and trying to get 10000 steps in most days.
Okay, thanks for your time and sense of humor!

It's nice talking to you as well. I, of course, like the West Coast. I was born and raised here, never more than 45 min from the beach... Until now. Now it's about 3 hours as we are, as I said, in the XXXXXXX foothills. I like the weather and the fact that we have mountains, ocean, dessert... All of it. Don't like the politics that have taken over, however. I am more conservative, but this are is conservative, unlike some other areas of California.
My sister lives in XXXXXXX The East Coast has much to offer... Beautiful seasons and much rich history. I love to visit there. Never even been to New York but have always wanted to go there. Enjoy your conference... Learn much to share with me!

Somehow people are not happy with D.T. ,is the general feeling.
His statements against the mexis, muslims and ladies, has offended the public.
Aren't you planning to vote ?

You can also send snaps of your scenic surroundings, that don't have UTI. !!

I'm a Christian and conservative Republican... But, yes, XXXXXXX has said some wild things. I fear what will happen if he gets the nomination. But I also fear the Democrats. This is a very odd and scary election. Never seen anything like it. I long for some one like XXXXXXX Reagan!
I know nothing of your politics. What is it like in India? How is your government run?

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Very happy to note you're a christian. same here.My name says it all. XXXXXXX remember always, 'Prayer is the greatest healer'.
XXXXXXX is also a democracy (democrazy).
But, in U.S., this one is very historic. A lady may become the U.S. prez.
A lot of millions are involved, with a lot of controversies.
Same here, not as much as there. All politicians are corrupt.
Don't you think so ??

Great keeping in touch with you.
God bless.

I have an app on my phone called timehop. Each day it brings up pictures I took on that day with a label of how long ago. So that pic came up when I tried to find one to send. It is a view from our home. Winter and early Spring are when we have more green on the hills and snow on the mountains.
As for pollution, sorry to say there is pollution... Not as much here as on the valley below but more than in those mountains. The Central Valley, in particular, is very polluted, partly from emissions that blow down from San Francisco area and partly particulates from agriculture. Also, and I never knew this before, cows produce enormous amount of methane gas! And this county has more cows than people!

A nest in place, from heaven

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Your nest is certainly,a part of heaven on earth.
San Francisco is certainly very polluted, due to the industries and traffic emissions.
But, your picture shows a very healthy place.

Agricultural pollutants is unusual.
If you're interested in gardening, cow dung can be used as bio-manure.
It really helps. It's used in many gardens all over.

Ensure you exercise in the mornings.
Have you been to the grand canyons.Wonderful place.

Wish you well.

The pollutants, they say, is particulate matter, stirred up in farming. Cow manure, yep, that should be excellent fertilizer. I like the cows, all over the hills grazing. They're cute in my opinion, and look so peaceful.
Yes, I have been to the Grand Canyon. My son loves in Arizona. I have 2 grown sons and 1 grown daughter. Each have a girl and a boy. So my grandkids are aged from 23 to 2 weeks (yes a new blessing!) How about you?
