Brief Answer:
Kindly follow the instructions

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the history and the results of various lab tests done in detail. Following are the answers requested:
1. How long before i can get to work?
After complete recovery from your illness, it may take 4-6 weeks
2. How long before i can take a glass of beer?
At the moment alcohol or alcohol containing beverages like beer is not advisable to you. Alcohol is a strong toxin to the liver, continued drinking can lead to cirrhosis of the liver or other complications. At present, there is no evidence for a safe level of alcohol for people with hepatitis. The best advice is to avoid alcohol completely.
3. When can i begin to exercise-jogging or brisk walk, cycling?
You may resume your routine exercises only after 3-4 weeks. At the moment
low-impact exercises such as walking for 15-30 minutes is the best.
4. Will Liv 52 help speed up the recovery process?
Yes, it can help regulate levels of enzymes and helps restore the functional efficiency of the liver by protecting the liver.
5. Ayurved and Homeopathy claim proven remedies In Jaundice.
Apart from Liv.52 (an Ayurvedic medication), no other herbal medications are found to be having proven efficiency in jaundice or hepatitis.
6. Can i consume salt, spices, pickles, sugar/sweets?
There is nothing wrong with having sugary foods and low salt diet, but avoid spices.
7. Does my diet have to be completely without oil or do i need to avoid only deep fried stuff?
Avoid deep fried foods like fast and junk foods, you can have olive oil used food items.
Hope the suggestions given above would be useful to you in recovering from jaundice.
Best regards.

Doctor,
Thanks for your reply.
I really wanted to know when i can see some signs of improvement. My urine is darker, and eyes yellow How long will this condition persist as i have contracted this jaundice at least 4-5 days before the actual test ie say 9 XXXXXXX 2016. So almost 16 days. when does these symptoms begin to recede?
Also no medication prescribed. Do I take it that what my doctor stated is in line and nothing further can be done to speed up the process of recovery?
I believe that will be the last of my questions.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
It may take another 2-3 weeks for complete recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
Thanks for your reply.
Owing to my busy schedule I could not attend to your query immediately.
After the onset of jaundice, the total recovery from the illness may take 4-6 weeks. So, it may take another 2-3 weeks for the improvement.
Since liver is affected by this viral infection usually medications are not prescribed except for multivitamins or liver protective drugs like Liv.52. Yes, your treating physician is right in the sense that process of recovery can not be speed up.
Don't worry about it, everything will be alright in due course of time just follow the instructions given earlier.
Hope I could answer your query.
Wishing you a very speedy and complete recovery.
Kindly rate the answers if you are convinced.
Regards.
