What Causes Tingly Itchy Palms And Feet?

default
Posted on Thu, 8 Jan 2015
Question: For five days I have been having tingly itchy palms but no numbness. Sometimes in feet too. Yesterday I didn't feel it. I thought it was gone but I'm feeling it today again only in right hand and toes on and off. What can I do to make it go away.

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

It looks like you are having allergic reaction to something. You will have to find out what might be causing this. The commonest things that cause this type of reactions are
1. New clothes, gloves , carpets, pets, new soap, curtains, Etc
2. New medicines
3. New food item especially sea food and nuts

Tab levocetrizine is the ideal tablet, take one tablet twice daily, that is after breakfast and dinner for 5 days. Apply calamine lotion three times daily.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Brief Answer:
Nerves

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

Just tingling sensation in both hands is most often seen in vitamin b12 deficiency. I recommend you to get tested for it . It is also seen in patients with long standing diabetes and alcohol abuse and very rarely due to smoking

Please meet a neurologist as soon as possible for a nerve conduction study
