Brief Answer:
Acute Tonsillo Pharyngitis

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
The history you have given and the condition of your throat suggests that you have Acute Tonsillo-Pharyngitis.
I would like to know a few things before we could discuss the treatment part:
1. Since when are you having pain in throat?
2. Any fever associated?
3. Any cough ?
4. Any running nose/ sneezing?
5. What antibiotic you have taken?
6. How much blood did you throw?
7. Blood was in sputum or in vomiting?

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me and answer these questions preferably in point wise manner.
Stay Healthy.

Thursday morning is when my throat started hurting. I had fever for three days the highest it got was 102.3. I try not to cough because it sends me into a fit of throwing up. Yes I have a runny nose and sneezing started yesterday. They put me on Levofloxacin 750mg once daily. blood is coming up when I vomit. it was not a dark color it was a bright red color. probably about a table spoon I'm guessing.

Brief Answer:
Augmentin.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In such condition, Levofloxacin is not going to help you much. In such conditions i advise following:
1. Antibiotic like Augmentin
2. Anti Allergic like Levocetrizne
3. Paracetamol for fever.
4. Warm saline and betadine gargles.
5. Pantoprazole for Acidity.

In case you get blood again, you should go for following tests:
1. Hemogram including platelet count
2. PT/INR
3. Xray Chest.

You may share my opinion with your doctor, i am sure he/she shall agree to this.

If you have any further query, please feel free to ask me.

Stay Healthy.
