Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
When was your last menstrual period ?
With irregular cycles, it is very difficult to say that the spotting was implantation bleeding.
What is the normal duration and length of your cycles, please let me know .
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Hi doc,
thanks for the reply.
I have very irregular period - 65 to 80 days.
weight - 68 kg
PCOS patient.
Hormone test result as per 15.5.2014:
FSH 5.61mIU/ml
LH 8.16 mIU/ml
PR 9.11 ng/ml

History:
On dec 2013, we consulted a doc. She suggested XXXXXXX for three months, and after three months, on 2nd day of menustration, We took Ubiphin and fopymin and evadiol.
But in FC study, no follicles were found.
Then on 14th May 2014, on the second day of menustration we started cc50 tablet (2 x 5days).
We scanned on 22nd May.
Result:
RO - 15x10, 12x10
LO- No DF
ET-.6mm
Then we scanned on 24.5.14
Result:
No DF.
Doc prescribed Vageston 200 (1x14 days) from 26 th May onwards, and to try naturally.
From XXXXXXX 11 onwards, brown spotting came for 2 to 3 days.
Now nothing is there.

Detailed Answer:
As you have highly irregular periods, it is possible that this was just spotting instead of a proper period that often occurs with PCOD.
Also, it could be withdrawal spotting after stopping Vageston.
Please go for one more transvaginal scan to know if this is the case.
As you have had two anovulatory cycles , you need higher dosage of Ubiphene and possibly injections to stimulate egg growth.
Weight loss is a must if you are overweight.
Metformin should be taken to relieve PCOD symptoms.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.

Detailed Answer:
You have highly irregular cycles, so it is extremely difficult to predict your next proper period.
Only an ultrasound scan can assess the thickness of the lining of the uterus - endometrium.
The thickness of the lining if known will let me tell you if this is a proper period or not.
Take care.

Detailed Answer:
The timing differentiates it.
WIth irregular cycles, all that can distinguish between the two is a scan.
