So when it first started it was really tight like it needed to pop and when it did it felt better for a little but till it started to feel like it grinding on tha bone or catching on a mussle or tendon. And its been like ever since. So when i go to lift my leg up down out or in it pinches. And it sometime stull pops but i cant find any comfort. I have not gone to the doc at all because my mom thinks im faking. What do i do to get her to take me? Or do i even need to go? I dont think its broken. I think its could on soemthjng like i could of dislocated it or sowmthjng.... Would getting a brace or sometbing help?

Brief Answer:
Get an Xray done; clinical examination is important

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

Sorry for the late reply.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
From your history, it might be a case of muscle spasm which might not have resolved yet. Bony injury is unlikely, as you are not bed ridden and rather moving around well. In hip fractures, walking is very difficult and painful, mostly not possible.
Chances of long standing joint infection or early arthritic changes have to be ruled out too.
Hence I would suggest an Xray and a thorough clinical examination by an orthopedician. A decision can be made accordingly and management can be done.
Get a routine blood test like complrte blood count, CRP, ESR etc done.
Make your mother understand that you are not faking and you really need checkup.
I would also suggest avoiding prolonged exertion or walking; take painkillers if needed.

Kindly follow up with the Xrays.
Hope this was useful.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
You should convince her

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
It is sad that she is not serious about this matter.
I am not saying that your problem is very serious but any chance should be ruled out.
All I can say is it will be better if you can convince her and do the needful.

Good luck.
Regards.
