Heart burn and acidic metalic taste is usually because of reflux and can be tackled by use of proton pump inhibitors for about 3 weeks.
This can be supplemented for few days withsucralfate preprations. You can consult your GP for this.
If the things do not improve an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy will be required.
Also please avoid excessive tea, coffee and alcohol. Avoid spicy and junk food.
