Brief Answer:
complete work up is to be done .

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX
I can understand your concern .
I would like to inform you that black stool along with diarrhoea is suggestive of some bleeding in upper part of gastrointestinal tract. This means there may be bleeding in lower part of esophagus (food pipe ) or bleeding in stomach.
Blood in stomach can cause diarrhoea as it can cause irritation to our bowel.
This may be because of any ulcer in stomach or any problem with liver. It must be taken seriously and complete work up should be done to look for exact cause of this.
In my opinion you should consult your physician for complete history and examination .
Hope this will help you .
If you have any other concerns please feel free to message me . Thanks for contacting HCM .
