What Causes Scanty Blood Flow During Menstruation?

Question: Hello.. My period came in the beggining of the month.. Normal then my next period supposed to be next month at 1st but it came the same month around 29 and it last until 30 for 2 days and it came really waterty blood , we are in next month right now it is at 1st and its coming brown discharge like its ready for my period to be over. I been sexual active it never happened this to me my period come in the same month is this normal?
