Brief Answer:
A photo and following data are needed first...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

Can you please provide a photo of the red spots about pore size on your legs? I need to have a look at them myself before running into final conclusions.

Can you also tell if:
- you suffer of chronic diseases: thyroid? diabetes? cardio-vascular? kidney? liver?
- any personal history of trauma (recently or previously)?
- are you on any medications: blood thinners? or others?

Looking forward to have the requested data in!

Brief Answer:
Aging most probable cause; see following...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

No problem for the photos.

From the new data you provided, you say to be using baby aspirin for over several years together with levothyroxine.

If the spots look like freckles in large bunches on both legs, taking into account your age (84 years old); such spots are normal changes in the skin at your age.

If the spots are red, then, most probably might be due to:
- use of aspirin (as it is a blood thinner)
- using levothyroxine is suggesting that you have under-reactive thyroid function; which is sometimes associated with skin changes
- liver problems are also associated with changes in the skin; so, I advise to get a liver function test done if not done till now
- sometimes, using a heater too close to the skin is also changing the skin color as you are experiencing now.

These are some of possibilities for the spots on your legs in lack of visual photos.

If your doctors found nothing (I believe they might have conducted many tests including liver function test) to determine the right cause.
If they have not found anything, then, most probably aging is the cause, and unfortunately, cannot do nothing for that only hoping not to get clinical problems (like itching or aching).

Hope it was of help!
