Question: I have had my period 3 times in less than 2 months. I am only 44 and have had my tubes tied.

Frequent periods can have a variety of reasons like hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems or just stress and weight changes.

I would like you to undergo a few tests to find the exact cause.

A TSH, FSH, LH ,and Prolactin hormone profile and an ultrasound of your uterus will be needed initially.
