What Causes Peeling Of Skin From Palms And Feet?

Question: Hi,
My son's feet and palms are peeling. i have attached few pictures of his hands and foot. Is this some skin problem. Can you please some medication.

skin peeling in your child surely appears pathological. The most common cause for such a peeling in XXXXXXX could be due to vitamin deficiency. the other causes being allergies, atopy, infections and drug reactions.

To be more specific in my opinion I would like to know some details like

Since when did you notice the peeling ?
Do the parts turn red after peeling ?
Does it itch or pain ?
Is he on any medication ?
Are there any health problems. How is his growth otherwise ?

Hi, thanks for the response. his growth is normal and he is not on any medication. he is having this for past week. it does not become red and he does not feel itching or pain , but he keeps peeling. his skin also looks dry most of the time. let me know if you need further details.
