Recently did a LFT and lipid. Test results adverse ones LDL 175, triglycerides 198, hdl 42, total cholesterol 252. GGT 112, SGOT 28, SGPT 46. Now started taking Udiliv 300 plus evion which I had taken last time. Little vague Pain in right and left of upper abdomen where the ribs end in the middle. Can you advise on this? Should I continue Udiliv or start statins. I never have started statins.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXX
Thanks for posting your query, I have gone through it very diligently and I really appreciate your concern.

Fatty liver with high cholesterol might be related to sedentary life style and faulty food habits, you need not to worry, this is a reversible condition at your age with certain life style modification or by taking medicines.

Here, I would like further information for better assessment like
do you smoke or consume liquor?
your weight,height and BMI.
If possible upload me all your reports.

you have high cholesterol and fatty liver, in your case life style modification can be tried first for 2 to 3months like
complete avoidance of smoking and alcohol
weight reduction by dietary restrictions and regular physical exercise if you are overweight.
avoidance of fatty fried and junk food
intake of lots of dietary fiber and fresh fruits and vegetables.
Yoga, meditation and relaxation exercises will definitely going to help you.

In my opinion you should continue with Udiliv and strictly follow all the measures for 2 to 3 months and after that get it checked again. if it doesn't reduce with this, than you may need to start Statins.

Hope you will find my response informative and useful, please write back to with all the details I have asked for, so that I will be able to tell you more precisely.
Best wishes
