Brief Answer:
Ibuprofen may help you...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am glad you have none of those problems. In this context, mostly it could be hormonal changes in your body which is most common in young females or ureteric stones. Most of the women get mild abdominal pain through out the menstrual cycle especially during ovulation time and during periods.

Other possibility of pain after period are
- increased thickness of womb lining(Endometrium) which is common with delayed periods or some times with normal periods. This is not a serious issue.
- Endometriosis

Since the pain lasts only for few seconds, its not very likely to be a serious cause like an endometrosis. So do not be worried. If the pain continues to trouble you, you can take pain killer like ibuprofen for a few days and drink plenty of fluids. We can plan a urine examination and ultrasound scan if the pain worsens or you develop fresh urinary complaints. A gynecologist review is advisable in case symptoms recur in the subsequent menstrual cycles.

Hope I have answered your query.
if you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Wait and watch.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for follow up query.
I am glad to help you.

I would suggest you wait and watch to observe your symptoms for two days.
If you have mild pain throughout the day you can take Ibuprofen tablet for pain.
If your symptoms will not improve after two days of medication then I would suggest you complete urine examination and ultrasound scan.
Drink plenty of water , water will help to flush all organisms from urinary tract.

Hope I have answered your query.

Okay understandable , and I will follow on with Ibuprofen,

Im just so worried about it and it's not as if I am in agony at all it is just various twinges, aches and light aching through out the duration of the day, I go get pain in various places though from aces in the genital area, twinges just below the belly button, then light twinges in the pelvic area, and as I have mentioned I'm urinating frequently, and putting two and two together

Im just very worried about all this and I know I should stay calm but Im getting quite stressed over it, thinking that there is something terribly wrong.

Brief Answer:
Nothing serious

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back

You need not worry.
According to your description you have mild problem. This is not serious.
It could be hormonal changes which does not require treatment.
Or
It could be due to stress. Some times stress can cause stomach pain.

You do not worry. Since you do not have fever, burning urination there is less chance of Urinary tract infection(UTI). If you have also it will be resolved with antibiotics within 5 days.
You may get relief within 2 days. If you do not want to wait for 2 days I would suggest you visit your primary doctor for urine examination.

I wish you a good health, be happy.

If you have any queries I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.

Oh thank you very much, with it being around my ovaries and in the lower abdomen I was clearly thinking the worst, I will see how I go for now with ibuprofen butI do hhave an appointment scheduled in two weeks time. So this mild pain is quite normal ? And no connection with frequent urinating?

Brief Answer:
Wait and watch.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The mild pain and increased frequency could be related to the stones as I said initially. Since its not burning and you have no fever, it is less likely to be from a serious urine infection. Nevertheless it will be worthwhile to get urine tested along with ultrasound scan if symptoms persist to trouble you.

Drinking lot of water apart from flushing organism also helps to flush out stones. So you need to make sure that you have enough fluids with ibuprofen.

Renal/ureteric pain also present in the same location as ovary pain. But your symptoms don't seem to be from sinister ovarian causes. So don't worry. Wait until the appointment. Use ibuprofen if the pain becomes unbearable. Lots of water and cranberries will be my action plan to treat your symptoms.

Hope it make sense. If you have no more questions, please close this discussion.
