Answered by Dr. Aarti Abraham (47 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Indicates increased blood supply

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
After urination, there might be increased blood flow to your private parts, making you more aware of the throbbing sensation, more like if you feel your pulse.
Is that what you are referring to ?
As long as there is no pain during urination, itching or discomfort, the throbbing is a normal phenomenon.
All the best

Brief Answer:
Normal if no other issues

Detailed Answer:

Regarding the throbbing, if it goes away (the discomfort also) in a few minutes, it is normal.
Since you are having no other problems, it is mostly due to increased blood supply to the area.

Also, it is not normal to have periods twice a month.
What is your height and weight?
Did you earlier have regular cycles, or has it always been this way (after the Depot)?
After the Depo it takes 3 - 6 cycles for your periods to stabilize, so wait for a couple of months.
I hope you are using some kind of contraceptive meanwhile.

Brief Answer:
Evaluate if it persists beyond a month.

Detailed Answer:
Do you mean 120 kg, if yes, you are overweight.
IF it is pounds, you are alright.
Give yourself a month more to stabilize from the depo shot.
If the irregularity persists, you need to consult a Specialist for internal evaluation, Pap smear, Hormonal evaluation (FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin) and a pelvic ultrasound scan.

Take care.
