Question: I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a uti . I was given antibiotics but starting last night I have been severely nauseous and tired and threw up about 15 minutes after taking my medicine. Then this morning same thing headache, nausea, and tired. I tried taking my medicine and again threw it up instantly . I know utis turn bad fast , since I can't take my antibiotics or hold down cranberry juice do i need to go to urgent care or er?

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are not able to tolerate the medication then, yes, you may need to be seen again.
You can consider trying an anti emetic (medication for nausea and vomiting) to see if one of these would decrease your nausea/vomiting. Eg dramamine or peptobismol.
If one of these (or other over the counter alternatives at your pharmacy) is used half hour before taking the medication.

If you still cannot keep down the medication or juice then you should be seen.This is only a possible option, if you feel very unwell you should be reviewed as soon as possible

Worsening symptoms-severe pain, continued nausea/vomiting, fever, blood in the urine, loss of appetite
