What Causes Left-sided Hip Pain Radiating To Groin Area And Leg?
Question: I have been suffering with what I thought was a bad back/hip. Been to docs had blood test for ovarian cancer liver etc. Been prescribed amitriptimal . The pain is getting worse, it seems 30 mins after food, I get excruciating burning pain in left hip which radiates down through groin and front of leg. It was so bad last night thought I had appendicitis.

Pain in this region may be related to urinary stone, ovarian cyst, disc related.
You need to get usg abdomen, xray KUB region and probably Mri of lumbosacral spine.
For pain relief Aceclofenac may be taken along with pain modulator like pregabalin, amitryptiline can be taken.
Not associated with appendicitis.
